I recently tried 5 days of meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner from Good Measure Meals and I saved a TON of time that I normally dedicate to weekly grocery shopping and meal prep.  Oh how I love to save time and the experience was icing on the cake! Here’s four reasons why you should give them a try!

  • First and foremost, 100% of the proceeds from Good Measure Meals is donated to Open Hand Atlanta. So, not only are you getting yummy meals, you are also supporting a nonprofit organization.  Two thumbs up!
  • I loved the personalized customer service both before and after I received my meals.  The representatives double checked to ensure that I provided enough information for the driver to place the meals right on our doorstep. And after the deliver was completed they checked in to make sure that I was all set. Just as an FYI, you will need to leave a cooler out so that they can place the meals there until you come home, they also leave ice packs so that everything stays cold.

  • My weekly meal prep includes figuring out the recipes, grocery shopping, preparing/cooking the meals and placing them in containers in the fridge.  It doesn’t really take a long time, but I could definitely appreciate that for a week all I had to do was grab something out of the fridge and heat it up.  The packaging was also super convenient for packing my lunch bag for work! An added bonus, the containers don’t take up much room in the fridge so we even had more space than normal.
  • All of the packages include a “best if eaten by” date and I LOVED that there were also instructions for properly freezing your meals for later so that you don’t have to toss out anything if you don’t get around to eating it.  This was especially helpful for our household, because we are sometimes on the go in the evenings and often times each out.

All in all a great experience!  Lots of meal options on the website, serving sizes were more than enough and the food was seasoned to perfection.

How do you save time when preparing meals for the week?
